Hudson Bay knife 07.11.10.jpg

This is a knife that I got a little carried away forging the blade one. It ended up 12.5" OAL with a 7.5" blade a little less than 3/16" at the handle and 1.5" at the wides point which is peak of the clip. It is out of 9260 and was given a satin finish. The handle is of quilted maple stained with Minwax gunstock stain then finished with 10 coats of boiled linseed oil. The scales are held on with brass pins.

Yes, it will chew through a 2X4 and still shave hair. The angle on the handle is a little off for chopping however. If you notice the curve on the spine follows through the handle instead of being straight or even angling away from the spine. That made it a keeper instead of something to offer for sale. Thanks for the king words anyway. I WILL do better the next time.
