Guys,
Thought I would post a new design I just finished, this one went to my brother in law but I have plans to make quite a few more when my ats-34 stock gets here. So, whadya think?
Specs on this one are:
Steel: 1/8" O1 Tool Steel HTed to 1500 and oil quenched, double tempered at 400f
Blade: 2-1/4" with a 20 degree edge with a satin finish.
OAL: 4-3/4"
Handle Material: Walnut Burl, home stabilized using a mason jar vacuum with minwax wood hardener then finished with 3 CA coats. Attached using 3/16" 300 grade stainless pins and 1/4" id stainless thong hole.
Accompanied by a 9-9oz leather handmade pocket sheath with some minor tooling.
I will be producing these in 01 and in ats-34
