Here is the latest model in my new B.D.U. line (Battle, Duty, Utility). I am calling this one the "B.D.U. Scout"
This is definitely not a "slicer", but is meant for heavy use. Oal is 9 3/4", with a 4 1/2" blade of .214" thick 5160.
The handle is black canvas micarta with carbon fiber pins. The pommel has a large "crusher", that could be used for prying as well.
I normally do leather sheaths, but I think this one calls for some kydex.
What do you think?
