I really like it. I know people say bigger is better when it comes to a press but honestly for $3000 less than a 16 ton press I am impressed (see what I did there). One of the first things I used it for was making a straight peen hammer. It squished that peen down with no trouble and that is a big piece if steel. It came with drawing and flat dies. The drawing die moves steel quick the flat die is slower. I made a set of fullering dies and those work quickly too. I have even made a couple of swords with it just for fun. With a piece of 1/4” flat bar you can make as many dies as you want which has been a BIG money saver. I really have nothing negative to say about it. I am sure it does not produce like a 25 ton press but I am not in a big hurry and I like that it is harder to over press your piece. Mounted to something that rolls it is awesome to be able to roll it out of the way when I am not using it. It has also relegated my fly press to mostly cold work.
