Need some Leather Splitter help

Hi,
I recently acquired a hand crank American/St Louis leather splitter. It looks like it is missing a few parts for the blade adjustment, but I can't be sure because I've never seen one from the back side. Could one of you guys post some pic's of the blade area of the machine?

Second, it needs a new blade. The old one has been well used and well rusted with HUGE rust pits on the cutting edge. Does anybody have new blades and/or other parts for this machine such as screws for the blade adjustrment and rollers ( mine have many rust pits just like the blade)?

Steve, I hope that your outlay on the splitter was minimal as I am sure that its resurrection will not be.. The old caveat emptor----let the buyer beware, is evident here. Hope for the best but do not count on it!!! ---Sandy---

You may try Weaver Leather...they are making a reproduction of the Landis 30 leather splitter...
