How was the Kirinite to work with? Appears to have worked out real well.

The only thing i ran into was ran a 120 belt over pins and the heat started to melt the scales around the pins.
I would cut pins after you shape scales or use file on pins before you hand sand,it sands like butter. so belts wont be that much faster.
