I order Don Robinson's "My Way" and "Slipjoints My Way" from Amazon last Friday. UPS delivered them late yesterday evening. I eagerly opened the box ready to dive in and start reading "My Way".

I sit down in my easy chair with a nice cold glass of sweet tea, ready to learn from one of the premier slipjoint makers. I open the cover to the first page and to my surprise this is what I find.

By none other than The Karl Marx. Apparently the printing company had put the wrong cover on the wrong book. I contacted Amazon and described the problem to them and recommend to them that they check their stock in the warehouse as it was possible that it was more than just this one copy that was bound with the wrong cover. The Customer Service Rep told me he could put in a request, but it could take 7-14 days to get an answer back from their warehouse, he said it would be quicker for them to send me a replacement copy and hopefully this one would be correct and if not that they would refund my money.
I should receive my replacement copy Friday. Hopefully it will be correct. Luckily the copy of "Slipjoints My Way' was correct, so I did have something to read. I'm going to PM Don Robinson and give him a heads up, so he can followup with his publisher. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed last evening, but my Wife and Daughter got a good laugh out of it.
