My second knife ever...

Hey guys... just finished my second knife ever (with a bunch more coming). This was a knife I made for a friend of mine who's in the Airborne down at Bragg. I inset his jump wings in the handle, which is OD Green and Black G10, and used brass pins and tube. The steel is 5160, the lanyard OD Green and Black 440 para, and the sheath is OD Green Kydex with black hardware. The grind is convex.

Thanks Laurence! It was my first time working with G10 in any capacity, and getting the epoxy to be clear was an absolute bear, but I'm pretty happy with the end result. Still a LONG way to go, though.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the encouragement. Believe it or not, I finished #3 about an hour ago. I'll post it in a new topic. I have 3 more in the hopper after that one, and I'll be sure to post pics of those as well.
