Those mosaic lanyard tubes are pretty cool! did you make those or buy them somewhere? The layer you made in the handle to make up for the short tang worked out really well, too.
I hate to be so picky, but I have to ask... in that 4th pic (spine shot) is that a trick of the light or is the spine rounded over? It looks a little wiggly to my eye. Personally I spend a lot, maybe too much time with a machinist's square and file trying to make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen.
As long as I'm being a pain in the neck, I gotta say I don't care for the sharp angle at the front of the handle, where your index finger would rest. I don't know if it would cause a weak point, but it looks a little awkward and uncomfortable. The other two knives look a lot more comfy in that front part.
Kelly, I want you to know I like you and your work. I admire your willingness to help new guys like me, and the fact that you always do your best. I've read a lot of your posts here and elsewhere, and I almost always agree with you. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I swear. But there's a lot of really knowledgeable buyers and collectors out there nowadays, and believe me they go over stuff like that with a fine-tooth comb. Please take my opinions as constructive criticism, not an insult.
Guys, I'm not bashing HELLGAP in any way, just being honest. If this post is in any way offensive, I will delete it and shut my big yap
