my first real sheath

Looks good Bruce, I don't care for leatherwork much but I do it. it's nice to have a sole authorship package, knife and sheath.
I kind of dread busting out the leather but when it's finally finished I'm glad I did. for one thing, I get what I wanted, no surprises.

i really like the no surprise part. But I'm still surprising my self !

That’s kinda neat! I’ve made double loop sheaths before .. where the knife sits horizontally on your back ... and just basic loops. This is kinda like a hybrid. Never seen this before. Thanks for modeling

Please post a picture of it when you have it made or designed. I'm imagining something like a piece of 3/4" iron pipe... ???
