My first integal

Want to show you my first integal knife.
Made from a feather pattern damascus which i forged myself.
The scales are made from mammoth ivory.

Just curious how did you create the recesses in the handle for the scales? Are there hidden pins in the scales?

yes hidden pins, also sandblasted and little troughs to enhance the bonding effect.
