unfortunately, the picture is a bit out of focus because it looks like he did some really nice vine file work on the spine. Ornamental.

It's a beautiful knife. The dimensions and proportions are dramatic (in a good way), and the particulars (like the Damascus and the handle work) are well-executed. You wouldn't have to twist my arm to get me to say that it's a good job.
