This is my very first knife made by an ABS Master Smith.
The knife was made for me by Aaron Wilburn who became a Master Smith this year.
Here are some quick photos. The knife looks way better in person.
Tonight I will be cutting everything I can get my hands on with this.

The handle material is some of the stabilized Bog Oak.
The knife is leaning a bit in the photo so the handle looks off a bit but it's not.

Mark,
Nice looking Gyuto you have there. I like the leather Saya. Is the Saya lined with anything or just leather?

The reason I asked is I am planning on making some similar Saya for my culinary knives but may line them with a synthedic to keep it a little cleaner if people don't clean it that well before put it away.

The scabbard is not lined.
I wipe down the knife well before putting it back into the scabbard.
I have been using the knife quite a bit over the past week.
This profile seems to really like cutting meat. It does well with the veggies too.
