USNGMG2 Well-Known Member Dec 3, 2021 #3 Thanks Doug, I made and sold all these knives. The sheath to which you refer, does not have a wooden core. The leather has kept its shape very well. My traditional back sewn sheaths do have wooden and sometimes I used plastic inserts. Now only wood.
