Can anyone give some direction as to what etchment to use to bring out the colors on Mokume , I don't want to go to harsh but wanted to make the colors pop.

Try Baldwin's Patina. Available at Reactive Metals. Letting the parts soak for awhile really brings out some nice colors.

First of all it's going to depend on what metals you used. I can't find my copy but I got a booklet called, strangely enough, Makume Gane from Amazon. It gives all sorts of information on which metals combine and how easily plus what chemicals to use for patinas.

depending on the materials, also heat coloring could bring out contrast.
The better thing is "shaving" a little testing coupon from the billet and do some trials
