So can you take it to someone with a fiber laser or a water jet cutter and they cut it or do you need a different program for that? I need a lap top or pc. I have been using a pad so long a real computer seems foreign to me anymore.

What you will need is to send the generated file in DWG or DXF format these are files that the laser machine identifies as vector. I believe that just the DWG or DXF file will be enough to do the cutting, whether with laser or waterjet you don't need to bring your laptop.
The file is in ZIP format with the DWG extension for sending.
