hello,
i just finished to convert this band saw and i thought it might be a useful tutorial.
it started as a Miter band saw made by femi
i made a simple stand,of course it's not the same for every saw.
i had to mount the saw up side down because of the direction of the motor.
to avoid taping the thin aluminum cast i made a long aluminum strip and drilled it to exept three bolts with nyloc nuts, this also allow to adjust the saw so it would be leveled
i removed the handle, trigger and safety button and weird it to a simple on/off switch
and it works great, i just need to buy a narrower blade.
thanks for looking,
Lee Lerman.
