MAC Rated Cleaver

MAC Rated = heavy duty!
When I was deployed, I developed a reputation for braking chairs. From camp chairs to office chairs and recliners to even folding steel chairs. So whether or not something was MAC Rated was always a topic of discussion.
This cleaver is .200" thick Elmax at 61 RC. The blade is 4" edge to spine at the widest point. The edge was .010" thick before sharpening. Blade length is 7".
Handle material- Yellow/black G10, thick black liners, large SS corbys
The swedge on the back is a bone cracker. This was a ton of fun to make. The customer and his wife like to butcher there own goats so he said make it BIG.

What do you think?

Thanks for looking!
Merry Christmas!

Mac,
Welcome to the Pack!
Nice Tacticool cleaver! I'm sure that the customers will have a few generations of goat splitting fun with it!

I like that you made the handle with a index relief so the can choke up or use a little leverage in their swing!

Outstanding, now thats a cleaver. They are getting their moneys worth. How long did it take to make from start to finish?

Nice cleaver, With all that steel there will be a lot of momentum when that cleaver is swung. Dan
