LS Tanto's (Lum style)

balibalistic

Bali-dog
Just finished this pair up!

Blades: 3/16" ATS-34
Handles: 6AL4V TI
Spacers: 6AL4V TI
Latches: 6AL4V TI
Clip: 6AL4V TI, machined

Both have PB bushing pivots!

These are Lum inspired, if ya cant tell. main bevels ground on a 3" wheel, swedges on a 1.5" wheel and tips are flat ground. these are to the bone USERS. i used a very steep countersink (82 degree) so these are grippy as a knife can get. both have a satin finish on all hardware. the handrubbed blade was a bear to finish. i think i'll stick to machine finish on these.

I've been playing with bushing tolorances and i think i've got these right where i want them! nice traditional feel yet blade will not contact inside of handles. they'll flip and cut very well (imo)

Yes, i realize i need to get a light tent set-up. its on my list of things to do :) so these quick dirty pics'll have to do..., least they're clear
