Finished this little skinner up this morning. Its got a 3 1/2" 52100 blade, wrought iron fittings, and a curly maple handle. 7 1/4" overall. Anyone interested in seeing some picture I took while making this guard? I've got them taken, just a matter of time to put them up if there is any interest.

Nice. I would like to see the pics of the guard in progress.

Here's 3 pictures of this guard in progress. It really isn't meant to be a tutorial. Maybe in the future. Right now I've got just a very few days before Blade West this Friday and I may have stop knives and sheaths to go salmon fishing tomorrow. As far as the 3 pictures go all the work was done with one form of stock removal or another and all involved power tools. I'll name the tools that were used. Drill press, portabandsaw, KMG, and a rotary tool. To get the bend in the guard I heated it up with a torch and hammered it ever so slightly.
