Little hatchet

Ok this little guy is 4140 but only 4.5" from the edge to poll. Not the most useful hatchet but sort of neat.

I like it. How did you do the handle opening. Do you use a preformed pattern? I think I've seen them at forging supply places.

I mill a slot for the eye then drift out the hole. Thanks guys
