Leopard Wood Scaled Knife

Popped the c-clamps off this blade and sanded the scales to the finished grit and then hand polished. Blade is sharpened and ready for a leather sheath.

I have a piece of leopardwood but it is not enough to do a set of scales so it is nice to see how it might have looked if I had been abe to do a knife handle with them.
 
This piece was very tight grain without much of the spots. A few are visible under the tang but it is a good working wood that sands and polishes nicely. I have another piece where the spots are more pronounced but I thought the tighter grain would work better with this blade.
