KnifeKits rip off

I've been buying my kydex sheath making supplies from KnifeKits for years and free shipping has been for orders of $49 or more. Now suddenly they have almost doubled their price to $89. I understand that the price of everything is going up but this is a rip off, greed at its best. To that end I am currently looking for a new supplier. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I think there’s a big difference between greed and a company trying to not go bankrupt. Free shipping on an $89 order is a good deal.

My experience from ordering from many different places in the knife community , is that you wiill seldom deal with nicer people. I do not think anybody is getting rich selling supplies.Folks,not everything is a conspiricy to drain your precious bodily fluids. Cheers

I am always a little surprised how incredibly cheap some makers can be........it is not like 89$ is a ton of materials to buy especially when the price of transportation has gone up so much......if you were my customer I would not sell you a thing for your rude comments

There is two ways of looking at this from the buyers perspective: (1) you are using Kydex as part of your business. It’s simply a cost of doing business, change your markup and pass it on.
(2) you are using Kydex as part of your hobby. Either get a new hobby, or accept that it will cost you more. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on knife stuff, hunting stuff, motorcycles, etc, hobbies can cost a lot and you have to decide if it’s worth it to you.
Either way, it’s not worth complaining about. It’s $40.
