Knife Scale Recommendations - Xmas Gift

I'd like to get my son a couple of nifty knife scale blanks for Christmas. Any recommended sources?

Arizona Ironwood LLC has some neat wood. G-Carta is one of the nicest looking composites I have seen. Culpeppers or Fine Turnage have good horn, antler, and ivory. USA Knifemaker has a pretty great selection of all sorts of stuff. Like everything it kind of boils down to what you are looking for, and want to spend.

Mad Max custom knife scales on FB (does really cool personalized stuff if you want), Wood By Mohler (really cool 1 off Micarta stuff), Voodoo Resins (really gorgeous epoxy, dyed and hybrid stuff), if you want more traditional stuff wood hit up Gene Kimmi on here he has some outstanding more traditional wood scales.

House of Mammoth (facebook) - has very nice high end mammoth (stabilized/dyed molar and tusks)
Randy McBurney Local Knife Scales/Block Sales (facebook) - lots of nice ironwood as well as layered stuff

Thanks guys, that's a great help. Having recommended sources is certainly more helpful than a random Google search.

Is there a support group out there, like Handle Materials Anonymous or something for guys like me that find themselves impulsively buying handle materials for hypothetical knives and half-baked ideas of knives in the wee hours of the night?
I bought all the stuff to stabilize scales and I'm entertaining getting a pressure pot to do Epoxy scales and Hybrids!! LOL!!

Pine cone scales might be nice, their kind of tricky to get flat though. usually there's a little warp to them, I put them in an oven at about 200 degrees for a while, flatten them, then put them to a disc sander. while not everyone likes them their definitely different.

If you are looking for high grade desert ironwood, you should check out sonoraironwood on eBay. I've gotten a lot of great ironwood from him, and his prices are moderate. He sells scales and blocks.

You've taken the first step by admitting that you have a problem. Unfortunately, it will do you no good. This stuff is just too pretty.

I'm beginning to feel like I've walked into a store selling adult beverages... my head beginning to spin looking at all the seductive choices.
OMG I see I've got to be careful or this will turn into a Scale Collection Hobby, rather than knife making.

Kiranskoa, xoticblanks, nyshedantlers, hi.koa, yellowfinkoa and rockinblocks. All on instagram.
I get the majority of mine from Instagram too. I'd add Flemingwoodsupply and Robswildwood.

It is an addiction. My wife calls it "looking at wood porn".
