Knife ID

I recently found this at an estate sale, can anyone on here give me any information on this knife. Can’t find any maker marks, it appears to be forged and is 28 inches long. The sheath is wood and handmade,the lace is leather and appears to be original. The decoration on the side appears to be antler or could be bone. Any info will be appreciated.

Filipino pinute, perhaps? Or, it might be a version of a parang with a pointy rather than blunter machete tip.

Without a maker's mark or other identifying marks it will be hard to discover any information about the knife.

I am fairly certain it is a pinute. The sheath is the giveaway. Also the handle material. I know I can’t find out who made it. Just never seen a sword or knife like it. Thanks for the info guys.
