Knife for my longest serving friend

Here is a knife I built for my longest serving friend, Moose Sutton (old Army mate).

High carbon 01 tool steel, .25" thick, 2" wide X 6" long. Duplex grind, chopping edge and cutting edge, Blass fittings and Kingwood handle.


The upper knife is a version for a soldier. 3/16th" thick, 1.5" wide, 6" long. Bead blasted and a canvas Micarta handle.

WOW! Love the design of those blades. Bead blast and micarta is a very nice look. Gotta love that mirror polish and Kingwood too!

I like the hand rubbed/mirror polish contrast.
You have a lot going on in a relatively small space.
