A look on the ricasso tells me that you made it with the file? Is that right? Could it be that youbrounded the tip a little bit?

I like it overall, in fact it's a whole like the hunting knife I made a while back, so design wise I say its fine. Only design thing that seems off to me, and maybe its just me, but there's too many competing angles going on in the ricasso area. I think I'd like it better if the front of the scales ended in a radius, or matched the grind angle. Again, maybe its just me, and remember I'm a newbie too, so......

Thanks Anthony, I agree that the angles didn't work in practice and would look better if I kept a simple radius. This was made from 1/8" 1084 and the scales are teak...this is the first knife to come off my kmg grinder. Ground to 100 grit then finished with a scotch bright belt.
