Good afternoon Dogs... hope everyone had a great weekend. I've been working on the knife below for the past few weeks. I had originally planned to make a matching pair of these little hunters (I've been told that this knife may be more appropriately called a "fighter"), but one of them had some issues in heat treat that blew that idea out of the water. This is my first time using bog oak; this is a piece of 5460 year old wood that I picked up from Mark at Burl Source. Very cool.
Some Stats:
Length: 10-5/8"
Blade : 5-3/8" (Tip to choil)
Steel: 1095 (from Kelly Cupples)
Handle: 5460 year old bog oak (Burl Source)
Fittings: 416ss with black G10 spacer
