Well a friend's son sent me enough South American hardwood to handle about 40 knives. I sent care packages to my local knife making buddies and still have a bunch.

A grandfather of this family was a ferrier in the day, thus my choice of a rasp for this primitive hunting knife for him.

Rasp, brass guard & pins, with SA hardwood scales. 9 oz veg tan sheath. This is my first slit guard. A little silver solder goes a long way.

Thank you. I have Daddy to thank for the leather classes, and our friend Bola and his sewing skills. That machine sure beats hand sewing.
