KMG Rotary Platen

Any of you guys use the KMG Rotary Platen? I am looking for infomation on how you like it and how you use it. If possibe give some information on making your plunges and how you go about convexing the edge. I have read some really good things about this attachement and might get one. Any information or pro's - con's would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use mine a lot for:

- profiling, not the heavy grinding but for getting smooth curves

- handle shaping

- initial sharpening/edge shaping. For this I use the smallest section flat at the top and hold the blade edge toward me.

I don't use it at all for plunges and I'm not doing convex grinds much right now.
