KITH 2020 For Kev

Got caught up a little and I’m getting started on Kev’s KITH. One of my hunters in 1084 with stabilized palm tree root scales. Black bolsters, nickel silver spacers and pins. Haven’t decided on liners yet I have some liner material coming in this week and I’ll make up my mind then.

Here’s a better picture of the scales. Pretty unusual material. Should make an interesting knife. I also have a surprise planned.

Got swamped with Christmas orders so I didn’t have time to do a WIP but it was just standard knife making anyway. It’s a day late but it’s going out today. 1084 with black corian and white liners. The wood is kinda unique. It’s stabilized palm tree root. The only piece I’ve ever seen. Wish I had some more of it.

That's a beautiful knife Randy. never seen anything like that Palm root before.
Diverdale, trust me when I say if you ever dug up around Palm tree roots you'd never want to do it again!
