Here is my 2018 KITH WIP. Others should post a link to there WIP.
I really enjoyed the 2018 kith. It was a lot of fun. I would encourage anyone wanting to join, to give it their very best shot. You will learn a great deal about knife making as well as about yourself.
On 2019, I am riding the fence. I have a couple of projects to complete and do not know if I want another project, right now. Let me think about it a bit...

I've been wanting to make something like that ever since I started making knives. I believe though mine would end up looking like a Raggedy Anne Doll with a somewhat pointy end

I have never done a bowie so that may lower the level of “my best work” or it could raise it. If y'all want to take that chance I would be in for a bowie. I guess we could change it to “the best bowie you can make”

Funny I was ruminating over what to make. I kept coming back to Bowie. So , I'm pretty set on one , but I'll go with whatever y'all decide. BTW , anyone recognize this Zito fella? Didn't we used to have a member by a similar name here in the olden days?

Same here. I'm looking at some bowie designs now. I don't think they're necessarily beyond my skill, but I've never made one, so I don't know how it will go

It is kind if a cool idea for us all to make a specific knife like a bowie. I would enjoy seeing everyone’s take on the knife. Lets beat the idea around a little and decide. If it would prevent someone from paticipating then they could make another kind of knife.
I like the idea of a specific knife, if for nothing else but to force one out of “the box”. I’ve done a few in the past where a specific skill was showcased, like hollow grind, or flexible blade aka fillet knife.
It’s fun. If all anyone ever did was drop point hunters it would be boring.
And I totally agree. If someone can’t make a Bowie for any reason, they can make something else.
