Kitchen knives my son made

Gene Kimmi

KNIFE MAKER
Kyle was home from college and wanted to make some kitchen knives. These are his 4th, 5th and 6th knives he's made.

All are out of .060" 15N20, have a plungeless grind with dyed maple burl handles with dyed, curly maple bolsters.

I think they came out really good. Theses large, thin knives are some of the hardest knives to grind for me and he caught on to it pretty quick.

Thanks for the compliments. I’m pretty proud of the job he did.

gene did he design those also? They're amazing...the small one...wow!

These are a design I have been doing for about a year now. I’ve fine tuned things on the chef knife here and there, but the paring design has stayed the same.
