Hi Guys

I have putting parts together for about a year to afford my grinder. I have the GIB and it is the same as done. I had bought a motor a long time ago off of ebay. I have 110 power in my little work space. I went to hook up the kbac 27d to my motor and realized my motor is
2hp. The manual says that it will run up to 1 1/2 hp on 110 and 2 hp on 220. What happens if go ahead and run my 2 hp motor on this set up using the kbac 27d?

When I asked KB they told me that it would not hurt the VFD or Motor. It might trip the breaker, then again it might not. Best if you have a 20 or 30 amp circuit rather than a 15 amp.

Try it and let us know how it works out. If necessary you can get a 1.5 hp motor from me.

Here's the update. When you hit start the breaker flips. It is on a 20 amp circuit.
