hello everyone, my name is Tyler Anderson, i am 22 and live in southern Virginia. I shoe horses for a living, i already own a anvil hammers and tongs etc. plan on picking up a baldor grinder soon.I have been crazy about knives since i was a kid and now that i have the time and financial ability along with the tools and some hammer practice i would like to get into making custom fixed blades. Im sure i will be worrying you all to death with questions on blade and handle materials as well as heat treating etc. etc. etc.
 
Welcome to the pack Tyler. Feel free to ask all the questions you wish. These guys have been putting up with my questions for over a year and haven't run me off yet.

Hi Tyler and welcome to KD. You are welcome to ask as many questions as you want, but if you read through some of the posts on this forum most of your questions will be answered even before you asked them.
