Engraving is certainly something you can get lost in. After I attended the GRS engraving school, and gathered all my tools, I tried to sit down each evening after supper to practice. Many of those sessions turned into my wife tapping me on the shoulder SEVERAL hours later, asking if I was going to bed. :) I'd look at what I'd done, and realize I'd only covered a few square inches!
 
I would absolutely love to get into engraving but I am simply not very good at designing something on paper so I really don’t think I would be very good at it. When I’m rich and famous though I’m going to get some engraving stuff and play around with it. ;)
 
Very interesting tutorial
Engraving is something that's always interested me. However after looking the tutorial over I'm thinking it may not be for me. Or if I do, it will be in the somewhat distant future.
