Sweet Jason! I would have thought the 1/8 G10 would be too thick for a liner, but it looks great. Professional photographer, or are you a man of many talents? :)

Rob!

yeah I thought they might be too thick as well but I used scales that were just a bit over 1/8" and I like how it turned out.
I took the pictures and did all the editing in a freeware editing program called gimp. These are the first pix I have used my home brew light box for. I need to get some stuff for backgrounds and props. also some more lights would be helpfull as well.

I have tried GIMP. Photoshop without instructions. You are a brave man. I think it's your lightbox that is impressing me. Didn't mean to hijack the thread. Nice.

No worries Rob. At least someone is commenting......
The light box is nothing fancy, just a cardboard box with the sides cut out and a couple white plastic garbage bags taped over the holes. then white plastic on the inside. took me 10 min and however much a couple plastic garbage bags cost. might need a couple better lights but it'll serve it's pourpose.

Thanks, I cant take much credit for the design. The client gave me a drawing he had done. I just fixed a couple things with his design to try to make it work better.

Looks very nice, keep up the good work. pics are really good to i will look into gimp its a down load you say?

The new pic is excellent , the old was really good too but much darker . I made a light box but need better lights the lights are the key in my opinion . Thats why pictures outside are hard to beat with direct sun light. Great wood and knife kellyw
