So I'm calling these "Smallwood Kwaikens", because there's a small piece of wood inset in each handle. It's not an especially creative name, I suppose... but I think it works.
Some Stats:
Length: 5-31/32" (so basically 6")
Blade: 2-13/16" (Tip to choil), 0.153" thick in front of the wrap
Weight: ~50g
Steel: Differentially Heat-Treated 1095
Handle: 550-cord wrapped and treated with West Systems epoxy. Wood inserts as shown
Sheath: Carbon Fiber Kydex on front, Black in back
Group Shot
You might notice that I didn't put my mark on the last (Walnut) knife. When sanding it out, I noticed that the hamon blobbed out a bit near the tip... so I left it with a satin finish, and have a good excuse to keep it for myself.
Here it is strapped to my pack.
Thanks for looking.
