If I put a sign like that in my shop my wife, and my daughter, would do their best to ban me from ever making knives again. Not that I make that many anyways. So, no sign for me. Except in my head
Buffers are the most dangerous piece of equipment in the shop.
I took a blade in the guts from a buffer a couple of years ago and it was not a pleasant experience.
A fellow I know got a breast plate made of titanium from a Army surplus store used by helicopter gunners.
It is nice and lite and would cover all the essential parts when a fellow is buffing.
A good time to wear that heavy forging apron. Some guys leave their dead belts on the floor all over under the buffer to keep a grabbed blade from bouncing up.
Got it on Amazon, been shopping around for a few signs and banners for my new shop, I have a lot of bare walls.
Time's a coming soon for the big move to the new shop !
