Weld all the seams shut and In the forge it goes until it reached 2300f and weld in in the press.

Open it up like a sardine can and out comes the billet nice and clean.

I forged the billet again to the correct size for a blade blank and cut it into two equal peices on the band saw. One is for George and I will keep the other. My piece is going to be the boot knife.

I know this is out of sequence but here is how I make the boxes. It is thin wall square tubing sliced down one side for the lid. Notice the used stainless foil for the liner.
