I heard back from Jose first thing this morning. The drive is still under warranty he is checking into what I should do to get it repaired or replaced.

Awesome!! I've been following, but didn't have anything to add....so stayed silent. In all the years I've been using KBAC drives, I've only had one failure..... and that happened within a week of getting it.....and it was replaced free from the seller.

Glad to hear it's still under warranty Chris, that would have been a hard hit to the wallet.
