J. Doyle Dealer - Purveyor Jun 24, 2021 #1 I just finished up this nice little hunter/utility knife. Forged from W1 steel, French patina finish, bronze fileworked collar, stabilized naturally two-toned amboyna burl handle. 3 3/4" blade, 8 1/8" overall.

K KenH Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2021 #7 John, that measures up to your normal work - OUTSTANDING!!! I'm starting to really like that "museum" fit on bolsters. I think I'll try one. French patina - is that does with French mustard? It sure looks nice, and that wide shiny edge really sets it off giving a San Mai look.

Kevin Zito KNIFE MAKER Aug 28, 2021 #11 Normally I’m not a huge fan of the French patina, but in this case it matches (flows) beautifully into the other pieces. Awesome knife!
