We have an anvil shoot at the SBA (Southern Blacksmiths' Association) Conference (www.sbaconference.com) in Madison, Georgia. The conference is the third weekend of May in odd numbered years. Come on down in 2011 and enjoy the conference and see the anvil shoot.

Or as Mike said, come to Alabama for the Batson Blade Symposium (http://www.alaforge.org/calendar.html) April 1 - 4, 2010.

Both have great tail gate sales beginning on Thursday, the day before the conference starts.

I will be there with my version of the NWGS and selling gas forge supplies, gas forge kits, gas forges and other stuff. Be sure and stop by and visit.

LOL,.. its from the old War between the States idiocy of attempting to destroy metal working capability of the South by blowing up the anvils anywhere they found them,lolol.

That was fun tho,cool one .. nothing like blowing something up to make ya smile :)
