HKS - Locking FF version - black c-tek

KNIFE MAKER
This one came about due to the carry laws in the UK and some other places, where locking knives are forbidden as EDC, but may be used at home, when camping etc - and blade lenght is restricted to 3 inches. I make this knife in this format, as well as a pure FF and as a slip joint.
In this format, the knife is fully operational as a friction folder, but has the option of a liner lock that can be activated or de-activated by the owner, making it legal EDC in most places. Lock is de-activated by closing the blade, inserting the little hex screw on the side and tightening it. Closing the blade and removing the screw activates the lock. Blade is 3" of polished N690, liners are Titanium, rest of the furntiture, stainless steel, scales black c-tek.

As usual, the pics tell the rest of the story. Please excuse the little dust motes in some of the pics - with the end of winter, the static electricity and winds over here, it is almost impossible to keep anything dust free for more than a second...
