Hi all ,

This is a great forum you guys have here, tons of useful info! I'm a student and have just finished undergrad, so I have some time between now and masters to get in some time for myself. I love tinkering with things and I've made several knives from stock removal as well as some random tools like chisels from forging. I look forward to sharing my work and getting to know you guys!

Welcome to Knife Dog Peter. I was up in your fair city one time. Toronto is a really great place to visit. Lots of outdoor cafe's and the subway was great for getting around.
Show us some of your work soon.

Thanks guys! @Jim: I'm in the process of making a friction folding knife but ever since I found my drill press to be inadequate, that's been on hold. I'm currently rebuilding a Delta Milwaukee DP220, with much improvising given the number of missing parts it had - no table, no motor pulley. It's been about a year since I've made a knife with a handle (i.e. pins, scales, liners etc), but my latest is a wood working kiridashi from 1084 while constructing my first workbench (unfortunately pics of the bench and my folder have been lost ever since my phone's memory card crashed).

This is the bushcraft knife I made last year.
