Just got back into bashing and grinding, at 50. My name's Adam and I'm in Ottawa, Canada.
Used to work as a CADCAM programmer / designer / sheet metal worker. Now working for the gun lobby up here.
Knifemaking is a useful stress reliever, LOL.

Thanks Chris. My first D guard. Just mild steel with some gun blue, but it was forged, which I am pretty proud of, and pinning it on was a lot of fun. Definitely going to do more of them.

Actually had my brother in law laser cut me some guards for future products. 1/4" CRS, should come in handy. Love having my CAD system handy!

I'm using KeyCreator. Used to be Cadkey. Allows easy 3D solid modelling and still lets you do wireframe 3D for things like DXF export straight to a CNC center.
