Hey there everyone, here is my introduction...

Frank Hunter

Well-Known Member
After a couple of years of lurking around and learning a great deal I think it's time to move forward. I'm Frank Hunter, from Central Montana, and I've been making knives off and on since high school. An excellent metal shop teacher of mine got a few of us guys started at it and I feel I owe him a great deal.
I'm currently making knives part time, working in heathcare part time, and raising a family too. Things have been busy lately, likely to be more so now that the antelope archery season is upon us. Right now all my blades are stock removal, using 440C, CPM154CM, and 1095 all sourced from Admiral Steel. I do everything from the blade grinding to heat treatment, as well as the sheaths. This has turned out to be more than just a hobby and I feel very fortunate to have such a great community.
Thanks for everything.
