Since I can't draw a stick man I need a little help finding a template. Wanting to make a kitchen knife like this in an 8-10 inch overall length. Anybody have one or know where I can get one? Thanks!!!

I bought Murray Carter’s book 101 Knife Designs. It has many templates like you are describing. There are also some here

I can make one up for you in pdf form that you can print out. What dimensions would you like. Handle length, blade height?

Randy - I took my wife's kitchen knife and traced it. Then adjusted it accordingly. Kind of cheated but it worked.

Yeah Mark. That’s one of the first sites I found when I started making knives. Lots of good stuff there. Unfortunately doesn’t have the one I’m looking fir.

You could just print that knife picture out the exact size you want your knife then attach it to a thin wood scrap and shape a template from there.
