My name is Kyle Gahagan,
I am just starting back as a knife maker after 13 years or so. I started making knives when I was 13 . I didnt know much about it but was shown alot by Walter Brend. I sold a few knives and purchased a good grinder but after returning from School one day I found my mother had sold all my equipment. I got dicouraged and stoped working with them. I later joined the army in 1999 And served with the 1st Ranger Battalion for 5 years. I was asked about a month ago to make a knife for a wedding present so I decided to sart back making. Things have changed since I last made a knife and I alsohave forgotten alot so I will be asking alot of questions. I hope to do well and get back into the groove with a little help. I have finished a couple of small knifes recently and already have 5 customers that are waitng on some. I enjoy this craft and hope to get to know some of you.
