Hello from Deep East Texas

My name is Steve Welch & I run a small one man shop (SW Custom) in East Texas. I Got into Knifemaking in 1982 by accident. I decided to build myself a hunting knife but it turned out to be a real "Dog"! Tried a second time & it turned out much better. Another hunter asked me about it then asked if I could build him one. Then another & another.... My attitude about handmade Knives is, "Pass the Knowledge On". After all, where would we be if not for those who came before us? Looks as if there are many others on this Forum who feel the same way. So from Deep East Texas, Hi Y'all!
